Hey all,
Sorry I haven't updated lately. been busy doing school work, with my part-time job, and trying to get ideas down on paper. So here's a little update on how things have been since last I've talked to you all.
First of all, the two things most prominent for me currently are my Web design class work and my poetry class. I am creating a band website for our first project (I have chosen flogging molly) and we had our first site layout critiques today. It went really well. My teacher really liked my website (although it is pretty extensive) and the only changes that needed to be addressed were primarily in text alignment. I am still weighing the pros and cons of uploading it to the blog (the file size and copyright issues being two big problems). So we'll see how it goes and I'll let you guys know.
Secondly, I have been having alot of great things happen in my poetry class. my latest poem, which I will upload for you all to read and comment on shortly, is a beat poet-style Anaphora poem about smoking. My entire class really loved it (they quite comically broke into snaps when I finished reading it aloud), and the teacher only saw a few improvements that could be made for efectiveness.
besides Web Design and poetry, I have been busy just trying to stay productive, and stay creative in my free time, since I only have one real studio class this semester (which is web design). I will try to sketch some more over the rest of the week, but it really all depends on how things go. Hopefully I'll be able to get something up for you guys to see by the end of the week. if nothing else. I'll put up some older stuff once again (which i try to abstain from doing, but right now its all i have thats good). The Iron Lung concept has kind of tapered off since the school year started and I'm not sure if Its going to be continued or simply left for a later day.
That's pretty much it for what I've been up to. I am going to try to be more active on the blog to make sure it doesn't fade off into oblivion like so many others. Thats all for now though. Hope to see you all soon!
