Entering into GIC

So good news today!

I got all my scheduling done for school, and I'm about to upload a new Web design project to the site.

We were given a project to make three blogs, increasing in complexity, about anything. It is mainly just a study in normal site design and using javascript as well as creating a search box for google to search your site. Just like the Flogging Molly WEbsite, I will provide a link for you to check out the working sites once uploaded!

THE RITZ

Here's a treat to quell your insatiable thirst for more of my work. haha. I made this one a while ago and figure it deserves to see the light of the world. Swanson: The RITZ. In stores April 3rd. 

those sketches I promised as well will be up soon. . . . . .. . ladies. haha. jk. lemme know what you think of the work. for once I kept the PSD file for this project even with it being around 6 months old or more so if you have any changes to suggest please PLEASE don't hesitate to suggest.

New sketches will be up soon

Just a heads up that I will be uploading some new process/sketchbook sketches sometime tomorrow hopefully. I have a really busy schedule tomorrow but I am going to try to make sure they get scanned and uploaded to the blog. 

in essence, they're a couple pages of quick ink/pen sketches (a few with a little added pencil shading). Also, An ink sketch first draw of a gorilla face concept followed by a second pass of the same drawing in pencil (possible third pass to come at a later time).

So thats what's to be coming here hopefully tomorrow if things pan out well.

Another Oldie: Rorschach Test

Old Band logo I created for a friend in 2007. the band ended up falling apart, but I decided to keep the logo just because ya never know if your gonna have a blog someday. haha. Well here it is. I may make a alternate version or two incorporating more of an Inky feel to it. we shall see. for now, this will just have to do. 

As always, feel free to let me know what you think, what you like, what could be improved. I'm open to any and all criticism. it only helps me get better.

Oldie but a goodie: Strategy Crest

This was one of my first endeavors for longer than ten minutes into illustrator. It was created as part of my chess concentration senior year in high school. I personally like it alot, even though it is a little choppy. but I you can forgive that. I was young and reckless!! *sob* . . . anyways. here it is. (in case your wondering the text says "strategy" in what I believe, if my memory serves me right, to be Russian)

It's been a month. Now what do I have to show for it?

Hey everyone,

      It's been a good month since I last posted to the blog and your probably wondering what could possibly be so important that it could pull me away from the blog for something as long as a whole month. Well two things. 

1. I have a girlfriend now. an amazing one at that. haha. so alot of my spare time has become spare time with my girlfriend. no complaints there, but naturally that means less time for me to spend bored, by myself, which would naturally lead to drawing/doodles. I hope you can understand. ;)
2. School work. as of late. i've been working alot on making sure I stay up to date and refrain from procrastinating like I did OH so much last year. HOWEVER, for once, folks, its to your benefit. I will be posting a link to my first project in my web design class. Our assignment was to build a website for our band of choice from the ground up using CSS in dreamweaver. I'm quite proud of the finished product (though it could always use a little tweaking aesthetically). As promised, I will upload pictures of the site pages as well as a link to the working site for you to peruse at your preferred perusing speed. Be sure to let me know what you all think of my work!

Well its back to studying for my exam in Management of art and design Business class. oh joy. haha. See you all shortly!
